Alexey Shavrov

Alexey Shavrov is an international CEO, Board Chair and Operating Partner with over 30 years of leadership across global markets. He specialises in private equity-backed turnarounds, complex restructurings and performance improvement in underperforming and special situation assets, working closely with investors, boards and management teams.

His career spans senior operating roles as CEO of large industrial businesses, followed by leadership positions within major international investment platforms, with responsibility for diversified portfolios at scale. Over the past decade, he has focused on CEO and board-level mandates in complex situations, frequently acting on behalf of private equity funds and investors to stabilise, restructure and reposition businesses.

Alexey has extensive board experience, with 38 appointments including 23 chairmanships, across international and investor-backed companies. He has operated across multi-billion revenue portfolios and large-scale asset bases, combining portfolio-level oversight with hands-on executive leadership in high-pressure, cross-border environments across Europe, the US and Asia.

Previously he has held senior leadership roles including:

• Chief Executive Officer of Titan Automotive Solutions, leading the global restructuring and turnaround of a multi-country automotive technology group supplying major OEMs
• Executive Vice-President and Head of High-Tech and Industrial Investment Portfolios at Sistema, a global listed investment group, overseeing businesses with c.$4B revenues and 10,000+ employees
• Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management at A1 Investments, a principal investment arm of Alfa Group (~$50B assets), overseeing a diversified global portfolio and delivering $150M+ returns through proprietary investments and restructurings
• Chief Executive Officer of Kaskol Aerospace Investment Group, leading aviation, aerospace and infrastructure investments and managing strategic partnerships with global industry players

In addition, he has held CEO and senior leadership roles across industrial manufacturing, energy, agribusiness and FMCG sectors, including large-scale operational build-ups and restructurings.

Alexey works across a wide range of industries including industrial manufacturing, energy and infrastructure, technology and telecoms, aviation, agribusiness and consumer sectors. His experience combines:

In his personal time, Alexey has a strong interest in art and theatre and is a qualified helicopter pilot, with a passion for long-distance flying.
